National Infrastructural Activities
BTH has all the facilities and equipment to carry out physical, mechanical & chemical tests on various building materials including Soil, Steel, Cement, Coarse & fine aggregates, bricks, tiles, wood, metal and construction water etc.Metals & Alloys
Ferrous and non-ferrous Metals and Alloys , Ferroalloys, Minerals and Ores Refractories are tested for chemical and mechanical properties as per IS, BS, ASTM, DIN or end customer specified standards.
Health Care
Drinking Water, Swimming Pool Water, Bottled Water are tested as per National/International Standards. Raw & Processed Foods including Food Grains, Spices, milk/ milk products, sausages, juices, meals, vegetable Oils/Fats, Ghee etc. are tested as per PFA, FPO, AGMARK & other relevant protocols.Pollution Control
BTH is fully equipped to undertake the sampling and testing of ambient and stack emissions as well as in-plant contamination. The Waste Water/Effluent Sampling as well as testing can be carried out as per Central and State Pollution Control Board norms. BTH has expertise to assess the Noise level in decibels inside or outside the mechanical plants. BTH also performs the relevant leachate tests on solid wastes.Fuels
Coal, Coke and solid fuels are tested for useful heat value, proximate analysis and chemical analysis of ash. We have all full proof arrangement for testing and analyzing adulteration.Organics & Polymers
BTH has the technical competence to evaluate the raw materials as well as the finished products in the field of rubber and plastics. The tests are performed as per BIS, ASTM, DIN and other national / international protocols. BTH can also assist in product development, import substitution of polymeric materials and parts through decoding of composition along with physical and mechanical characteristics.
Soaps and detergents can be tested for active ingredients/total fatty matter and other relevant tests. The important basic parameters of textiles can be checked e.g. weight per square meter, ends/picks, count of yarn, breaking strength, tear strength, sizing content etc. In case of paper and paper products, gram-mage, breaking Strength, pH of extract, oil absorption, Cobb tests etc. can be conducted.Consultancy Services

Although the start was made in a very subtle way with an eye on the expanding horizons in the fields of Polymers the effort to establish BTH is a modest endeavor to the beginning of Bharat Rubber Udyog.
